What would happen if you were not around or not able to speak on your pet’s behalf?

Do you know that being away from you can cause severe anxiety to your pets?

Does anyone know your pet’s schedules, diets, medications, special words or toys?

Do you know that having someone aware and able to keep them in their routines is critical?

If you are traveling with your pet and get separated, could you be reunited?

If you have made long-term care plans for your pet, are the details in writing?

Are these documents in the hands of the people who will rely on them; alternate caregivers, veterinarians, family members and/or attorneys?

The My Peticulars Pet Care Kit – loving your pet even when you can’t be there!

My Peticulars is here to make sure your best friends are safe and happy …. Today, tomorrow and into the future.

Sharon passed away thinking the $4500 she left to her nephew in her will “for the care and feeding of my dog, Chauncy,” would mean that her nephew would provide a loving home for her dear Chihuahua.  Unfortunately, a will can’t designate what the money will be used for.  Sharon’s nephew took the $4500 and bought a motorcycle with it, then dropped Chauncy at an animal shelter.
Cristina and Tom were in a severe auto accident.  Without any written instructions for how to care for their cat, their friends and neighbors actually forgot about the poor animal for a few days.  When they checked on the animal, it was frightened and hostile.  Because they didn’t know who the cat’s veterinarian was or where to take her, they simply took her to a kennel they found in the yellow pages.  Sadly, by the time Cristina got out of the hospital and picked up her pet, she had developed a severe respiratory infection and was infested with fleas from the disreputable kennel.
Luke had always told his children and grandchildren he wanted his three dogs to stay together if anything happened to him.  But when he died of a heart attack, none of his children could afford the expense of taking in three large dogs and caring and feeding them.  The dogs were split up, each one going to a different family, where they suffered miserably from being separated.  If Luke had set up a Trust with enough money to provide for his dogs food and medical expenses, they could have remained happily together in their old age.
